Here are some first passes at visualizing high-frequency words in texts, and trying to compare texts visually:
First one - Austen's Emma vs. Dickens' Great Expectations. No interaction between the two lists, but font size based on frequency
Second one - Joyce's Ulysses vs. Balzac's Pere Goriot. Wow! The words in yellow are shared by both texts; font size is based on a normalized frequency (# of occurences divided by total # of words in the text)
Third one - Wharton's House of Mirth vs. Shelley's Frankenstein. Same as above... trying hard to have titles appear above the groupings, and it's not working very well.
